Natural resources
The valleys of river Una and its confluents Unac and Krka represent a special natural entity, which is very important for the preservation of the whole landscape and biological diversity.
As “natural monuments”, numerous phenomenons have been placed under protection in recent years, such as the cave near Martin Brod, the spring of river Ostrovica near Kulen Vakuf, the waterfalls of Una in Martin Brod and Strbacki Buk, the Black Source of Unac, the spring of the rivers Una and Klokot near Bihac as well as the virgin forest around Pljesavica mountain as a natural reserve.
